new stem

a new stem seems to come up, I am not sure it is good, it has a tiny leaf at the bottom and it looks different from the exterior roots that come up here and there. Could I have a picture please of a yong stem ? Thanks.

I don't have a photo of a new flower stem handy right now, but if the stem has a tiny leaf at the end it is a flower stem, and should bloom in a few months. Congratulations!

Thanks so much, and indeed, it seems to b e a flower stem growing quite fast, started to tutor it gently. First time this happened here with my three orchids which so far bloomed from the old stems, lots of fun.
