Aria (admin edit: Phal. Ariadne?)

by Tess

I have only had this plant for about a month now. I water it 2 or 3 times a week and make sure it is a good distance away from direct sunlight. When it does receives sunlight it coming from the east sliding glass door in my living room; which is a good distance away from the plant. The potting soil I have in my plastic pot is sphagnum moss. The temperature in my apartment is usually 73-75 degrees. So far everything has been working great. It is a truly beautiful flower!

Beautiful plant, Tess!

Your plant looks great! It appears healthy, too.

You titled it "Aria"; based on the plant's appearance, I'm guessing that the tag is half faded (or half buried in the potting mix) and it's actually a Phal. Ariadne (Phal. aphrodite × Phal. stuartiana).

Thanks for posting the photos!
